Happy Harbor is in
Hastings-0n-Hudson, NY. Hastings is on the Hudson River, and is between
Yonkers and Dobbs Ferry.
From
Connecticut & White Plains: Make your way to the Cross Westchester
Expressway (287) going West. Take the (left-hand) exit for
Interstate 87 South—the sign says “New York.” Take the first exit onto the Saw Mill River south. See directions below, “From the North.”
From NYC: Take the Henry Hudson Parkway North. This will turn into the Saw Mill
River Parkway. See directions below, “From the South.”
From the
North: Take the Saw Mill River south to the Hastings FARRAGUT PARKWAY
EXIT. (Note: there is a Farragut Avenue exit, you want the next one marked
Farragut Parkway) Go right off the exit ramp. Continue to the first
traffic light. (You will have passed the High School on your right.) At
the light, make a HARD LEFT onto Broadway, going south. Go a little over a
mile. The road will split and you will be on a section that is one way.
Pinecrest Parkway will join Broadway on your right. Don’t go down it! Turn
RIGHT into the next driveway—the North Yonkers Community Church. (This is
just as you have on-coming traffic.) The name of the church is in the stone
wall as you turn into the property. Happy Harbor is in the back of this
building.
From the
South: Take the Saw
Mill Parkway North to the Yonkers EXECUTIVE BOULEVARD exit. This is a
right-hand exit. The exit ramp will bring you directly across the parkway.
Go through the lights on the parkway, go through the next light, staying on
Executive Boulevard. It will wind up and around a big hill and will
dead-end on Broadway. Go RIGHT. Go ½ mile. The road splits and there will
be a triangular divider in the middle of the road. In that triangle is a
blue sign “Welcome to Hastings-0n-Hudson.” Turn LEFT behind the sign. In
front of you, on the west side of the street, will be the North Yonkers
Community Church. Happy Harbor is in the rear of this building. |
