Happy Harbor Child Care Center is a New York State licensed, not-for-profit center that provides early care and education for children from three months to five years. 

Open year round, Happy Harbor has been a home-away-from-home for the very young since 1988.  Our guidance and teaching are based on a child’s development and individual needs, and the relationship between the adult and child is how we come to understand what will best help each child. 

Our teaching staff is trained in child development, CPR and First Aid, are guided by New York State regulations and the principles of best practice from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. 

We have four age groups:

            Infants (Adorable)

                        Toddlers (Terrific)

                                    Three Year Olds  (Big Kids)

                                                Four Year Olds (Pre-K Kids)

We provide early care and education for forty-four children; this small size makes it possible for every child to be known by every teacher.  Locally famous is good for children!
